Incorporated in 1974, the Town of Oro Valley is a beautiful community near northwest Tucson, about 3 miles north of the Tucson city limits. It covers just over 30 square miles, and sits at an elevation of 2620 feet. Current population is just over 41,000 people. Oro Valley is know for it's rich history, beautiful views of the Santa Catalina and Tortolita mountain ranges, public art, excellent public and private golf courses, shopping, dining, hiking and biking.
